I've been surfing the web in a business capacity since 1991 so I have personally seen the Internet grow from barely nothing to the unweilding beast that it is today. When social media surfaced, I was immediately drawn in and fascinated by its power and promise to democratize the media and introduce self-publishing for the masses. It has been the focus of my work since 2004, which has given me a deep understanding of its evolution and impact on business.

Over the years, I have developed comprehensive digital programs for numerous global brands and Fortune 500 companies including HP, Landor, McKesson, Panasonic, SanDisk, Seagate, Toms of Maine and Young & Rubicam. I now lead social media at Avanade, a managed services provider and subsidiary of Accenture.
