I'm a 50 something work at home lady. I have been writing on the internet for seven years. I started out on Squidoo, and from there migrated to many platforms, including Daily Two Cents, Writedge, Wizzley, Webnuggetz, Bubblews and in 2013, I took the plunge and started my own website and blog Homemade by Jade.

Homemade by Jade is dedicated to my passions for reviving old fashion skills and becoming a more self sufficient, and thoughtful citizen of our planet. In my blog I explore gardening, cooking, sewing and household repairs. I also touch on the fun areas of living a self reliant life such as family activities, crafts and DIY home improvement projects.

I use the pen name Jadelynx, which I got from one of my characters in the game World of Warcraft. You will find it my moniker on all my sites and writings, so if you see writing by Jadelynx, that is me!

I love working from home and being my own boss, but that would not be possible if not for my lovely husband, whom I owe much. We are on this journey together. :)
