Traci Landry
Director of Instructional Technology
I am an experienced educator with over 30 years of service in the Derry Township School District. My career began as a primary-level classroom teacher, a role I held for 15 years before transitioning into the position of Instructional Technology Specialist and Coach for five years. Currently, I serve as the Director of Professional Learning and Innovation at Derry Township School District, a position I have held for 15 years. Additionally, I am an adjunct instructor for Eduspire and Wilson College, where I contribute to the development of educators in the field of instructional technology and professional learning.
I earned my Undergraduate Degree from Penn State University, a Master’s in Educational Administration from Temple University, and an Instructional Technology Specialist certification from Penn State University. My professional certifications include Elementary Principal and K-12 Business and Computer Technology. I am also a certified trainer in several instructional programs, including Everyday Mathematics, Co-Teaching, Charlotte Danielson’s Domains of Professional Practice, APL Instructional Strategies, Promethean Software, and FOSS/GEMS Science. Most recently, I completed coursework in Online Instructional Design and Pedagogy, further enhancing my expertise in digital learning strategies.
Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to present at state and national conferences, including ISTE, PETE&C, and the CAIU iPad Summit. In my current role, I design and lead district-wide professional development initiatives, focusing on technology integration and instructional innovation.
I am deeply passionate about the meaningful integration of technology into education. I firmly believe that technology should always be driven by strong instructional practices and that our educational goals—not the tools themselves—should guide how we incorporate technology into the classroom to enhance teaching and learning.
