Degrees from Carson-Newman College (BA - French, Spanish), U of Tennessee (MA - French Language & Literature, PHD - Modern Foreign Languages & Literatures) and also shorter term studies at American U of Paris, Cornell, Salzburg Global Seminar, Unversidad de Santiago de Compostela.

Vol fan. Always ready for a trip to a new place, but also never tire of a return to Paris.
