Appalachian man who spent a five year sojourn in Chicago. Now rooted back in the Highlands of Southwest Virginia. I believe in: empowerment, laughter, God, knowledge, tomorrow. Graduated from Emory & Henry College with degrees in Public Policy & Community Service and Religion. 2008 graduate of the Master of Arts in Social Justice program at Loyola University Chicago. Currently serve in the role of Associate Director of the Appalachian Center for Civic Life at Emory & Henry College.
