Tre Garrett

Award winning freelance stage and screen director, Tre Garrett, is the current Artistic Director for Jubilee Theatre.

He is former Show Director for Walt Disney Entertainment and Director in Residence for the John F. Kenndey Center. He has directed theatre, opera, concerts, short films and live performances all over the United States.

Mr. Garrett is a graduate of the prestigious High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, holds a BFA in Directing from the University North Carolina School of the Arts and an MFA in Directing from the Academy of Art University.
Mr. Garrett is the recipient of several distinguished fellowships and awards including; Society Directors and Choreographer's John Gielgud Directing fellowship, Eugene O'Neill Playwright's Conference Directing fellowship, and the Kenan Institute for the Arts Directing Fellowship. Two National Foundation for the Advancement of the Arts Awards, two NAACP Act-So Awards, two AACTA Onyx Awards, and Best in Theatre recognitions from the DFW Critics Forum, Star-Telegram and TheatreJones.com.
