Trey Jones
Computational Linguist in Germantown, Maryland
I'm a computational linguist by day and a satirical linguist by night.
My areas of expertise include natural language processing, machine learning, sarcasm, and satire.
I do tricky things with text and mash numbers and words together in ways nature never intended, and I'm pretty damn good at it. I even worked on search engines before search engines were cool.
When I'm not trying to make an honest buck doing things none of my friends and family understand, I like to skewer the entire field of linguistics as Editor-in-Chief of Speculative Grammarian, the premier scholarly journal featuring research in the neglected field of satirical linguistics.
And, despite my best efforts, I seem to have written a book with some of my SpecGram cohorts: The Speculative Grammarian Essential Guide to Linguistics.
