Tristan Pollock

Tristan is a community builder, travel writer, solution journalist and co-founder of SocialEarth.org, a social entrepreneurship news blog with over 170 contributors in 25 countries. For the last six years, Tristan has done everything from writing radio scripts in Minneapolis to blogging about his experience on a TOMS Shoe Drop in Argentina.

In 2010, Tristan won the Social Enterprise Alliance Blogger Contest and his coverage of the 2010 Social Enterprise World Forum was featured on The Huffington Post.

In 2011, Tristan was recognized as the top StartSomeGood outreach mobilizer for his efforts in securing crowdfunders for their IndieGoGo startup campaign, and his travel2change Idea Challenge essay earned him an all-expenses-paid trip to work with an international nonprofit in Peru.

With the recent acquisition of SocialEarth by 3BL Media, Tristan is now looking for new opportunities to further creativity, consciousness, technology, science and social innovation.
