Troy Dixon

Having amassed a myriad of real-world experience ranging from engineering high pressure recording sessions in Los Angeles to investing in the lives of young people through volunteer mentoring and teaching, Troy brings a unique skill set to any situation. Recently, Troy has been everywhere from touring Europe playing bluegrass music to the classroom teaching Audio Technology at the largest high school in metropolitan Nashville.

Troy is an alumni of Middle Tennessee State University where he studied Recording Industry Management with a specific focus on the engineering side of the industry. Upon graduating in 2006, an opportunity to work with acclaimed engineer Dave Aron took him to Los Angeles where he spent the next 5 years working for Dave and building his own freelance business. Troy is currently based in Nashville where he is focusing on songwriting, recording, and producing.

Past work includes audio engineering with Jane's Addiction, The Scientist, Snoop Dogg, Nels Cline, Banyan, Chelsea Moon, The Franz Family, Marc Scibilia, Chrome Pony, and others.
