Wisconsin born and bred, Arizona State alum and currently an on-air reporter for ABC affiliate KERO in Bakersfield, CA.

Journalism has always been a part of my life, with humble beginnings writing weekly American Idol recaps for the middle school newspaper. Proud Sun Devil and graduate of the legendary Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communications. Former anchor and political reporter for Cronkite News on KAET-PBS 8 HD.

I've had the honor to share the stories of many people from all realms–from musical acts like All Time Low and Luke Bryan to politicians like Arizona Governor Doug Ducey and former presidential candidate John McCain.

I also love food and sharing it (mostly so I don't eat it all on my own and get really, really fat) so I started a food blog called Short Girl, Tall Appetite to share some of my favorite recipes and initially prove that not all college kids survive on mac & cheese, frozen pizza and ramen.
