Hamilton Beach 32500 8-Cup Oil Deep Fryer

still after just one year's use the digital reader stoppedworking - only feedback was error sounds and the heating coils would no longerheat.

I haven't owned other fryers, but I like this one very much. What I like the most is the oil filter system. It's also nice that it's alldishwasher safe though I clean the oil reservoir at the bottom by hand.

This only happened because i didn't have it attachedproperly. Do yourself a favor and do a trial run with water to learn how to useit.

This does exactly what it says it does. There is no odorduring or after frying, the filtering system cleans the oil for me, and cleanup is a breeze. I would recommend this hamilton beach35200 oil deep fryer 8-cup.

I use this ALL the time. Its one of my favorite kitchenappliance I have.

It doesn't hold too much oil. It would have been nice tohave a basket because the spoon holes are small and it retains oil.

I love that I can store the oil in it. I do not do too muchfrying and the temperature works good for my cooking but if you use deep fry ata very high heat this might not be for you. I fried something that require ahigh temperature and the inside of my (its called coxinha its a dough filledwith seasoned chicken inside) coxinha was cold even frying a little longerwould not do it and my dish turn out a little too crunch from over frying andthe inside was still a little bit cold.

Today I tried to pour the oil out and wash it and discoveredthat the metal receptacle can not be removed. You must try to wash it (messyoil and residue from flour/cornmeal) with the electrical receptacle on it. Ialso love that I can keep the oil and strain because of the lid, and it doesn'tuse a lot of oil, which is great because I don't fry a lot at one time.

The size is perfect for small amounts of food. The plasticlid melted on my original FryDaddy and I was unable to use it.

Works nicely for small batches of fried food. Keep an eyeout as not to burn anything if you've let the oil reheat and sit betweenbatches.
