Tyler has worked in public, private, and charter schools in Atlanta, nationally-focused education organizations, and international development in Peru.

Tyler is a doctoral candidate in education leadership at Harvard and co-founder of Transforming Teaching and Chattahoochee Hills Charter. Formerly, Tyler was the Head of Upper School at Mount Vernon Presbyterian School, a high school Spanish teacher in Gwinnett County, Ga., public schools, and founder of And Now For The Vows.

Earlier, Tyler worked as minister at a local Atlanta church and community organizer in Peru in areas of healthcare, education, poverty reduction, infrastructure, and human rights.

A husband and father of four, Tyler holds a Midcareer Master of Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School of Government and a Master of Theological Studies from Regent College of the University of British Columbia.
