Ty Roth

I am a teacher of literature and composition at both the high school and university levels and a former high school football coach. He is the author of literary novels for mature young adults and all readers interested in examining the lives of young people through the lens of realistic fiction. Born, raised, and still residing in Sandusky, Ohio, my Midwest roots and life along the Great Lakes play a prominent role in his storytelling. I am the author of two novels: SO SHELLY, which imagines the English Romantic poets, Byron, Shelley, and Keats, as modern-day high school students and GOODNESS FALLS, which tells the tragic tale of a high school quarterback whose life unspools as the result of a series of concussions and his attempt to mask his suffering with prescription pain killers.
