Ty Whiting

I was raised in Painesville, Ohio in the 70's then Schaumburg, Illinois in the 80's. Which is where I finished elementary school then attended jr. high and high school as a Saxon. Playing sports through my childhood taught me teamwork, work ethic, leadership skills, how to win & lose gracefully and with dignity.

I met Janet while working part-time at Best Buy and married then in 2001. After all these years, I'm still deeply in love! Once a year we try to make it tour favorite place on earth, Hawaii. No kids yet but who knows.

From Aug '98 until Mar 2012 the Classic Auto Group gave me knowledge and advancement opportunities that I will cherish. From a saleperson at their flagship Chevrolet dealership to Sales Manager at their BMW Center, I will always hold Classic in the highest regard.

My experience with the Penske Automotive Group has taken my manger skills to the next level. First at Porsche of Beachwood, then Audi Bedford, and now at Audi Mentor, I am doing what I love and helping my team elevate their skill sets.

Over the years social media has played a major part of my personal & professional life. Besides my facebook, twitter, google+, and LinkedIn, I co-hosted a chat program on Twitter related to German cars called #BimmerChat and contributed to #GermanCarChat.
