I'm an educator, mainly primary and currently middle school. I say 'educator' and not 'teacher', because in an age of instant information, guiding and challenging is more important than imparting knowledge. I am passionate about equipping young people with the tools to explore with discernment, their personal, social, physical and on-line worlds.

My own learning journey started with Social Sciences which cleared a path to local government. Unusually, this led into advertising then onto Psychology, collecting Counselling on the way. I'm desperately trying to gain speed in the teaching profession, however, I'm stuck in a system upgrade, which is slowing my progress, despite my horsepower!

Unlike many journeys, there is no final destination because when do you stop learning?
