Max Phillips, sometimes known as "Vanguard" depending where on the internet you're asking around, is a freelance photographer based out of Kansas City and founder and solitary employee of his studio, Vanguard Imageworks.

As well as being a photographer by trade Max is also an occasional writer, a lover of music and an outspoken cynic with an added bit of sarcasm for flavor.
