Who am I? It's Vathsala! I live in one of most beautiful countries, Singapore. I was born in Jaffna, Sri Lanka and spent the entire childhood and schooling there. And then had the chance to study at a best university, University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka. My Educational Life So, I got my Bachelors Degree in Computer Engineering, from the well known 'University of Peradeniya'. My passion was to do Computer Engineering; And I did. Professional Experiences It's almost five years I've been in the IT industry as Software Engineer. Worked in different technologies and gained lots of experiences. Still in the process of learning new technologies then and there. Have worked for a company which is a service delivery solutions provider for the global banking, financial services and telecoms markets. There, I was mainly working in C/C team and used Solaris, AIX, SQL, Oracle, etc. While I was working there, i got chances to visit abroad for few overseas projects. It was a nice experience and can be cherished forever. Last year, thought of moving to some other place for a change and to have new challenges. So joined to another company(vendor of Microsoft), as i wished. Worked in C#,.NET, Sharepoint technologies. Then currently working as a Software Engineer in Singapore. It's also an interesting job. Things keep me out of Computers → Music: I'm a music-buff. I like melodious songs and the songs which have nice lyrics; In simple words, the songs which touch your heart in someway. → Reading: I love reading. I read novels, blogs, articles, anything. Mostly I have read Tamil books. But I too read other stuff too. → Traveling: I love going on trips, hikes and visiting places. I travel a lot and explore new places. → Photography: Photography is another thing which takes me out of the world. I do enjoy others' photographs and I enjoy taking photographs too. → Gardening: It's a lifetime hobby for me. I always love gardening. Nothing can beat the feeling of seeing a flower blossoms in your own garden. My wish I love to learn new things, expanding my horizon of knowledge in every aspect.
