Peter M Vernig, PhD

Dr. Vernig is a licensed psychologist and supervising clinical specialist at Friends Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. He completed his PhD at Suffolk University in Boston, where his clinical training has encompassed a wide range of settings and clinical populations. This breadth has familiarized him with many different facets of modern behavioral healthcare. His research has focused on behavior change (specifically substance use disorders), the development and implementation of acceptance-based behavioral interventions, and relationship formation. He holds clinical faculty appointments at Drexel University's College of Medicine, and the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.
