Vernon Amare Allen (also known as Vito The Dreamchasa) is a government officer, journalist, music artist, blogger, and pending author. He is also an emergency response official for the Department of Homeland Security. Allen is the publisher of Dreamchasa Magazine and creator of Dreamchasa Entertainment. Dreamchasa Magazine (an e-magazine) is accessible on the web at dreamchasamag.com. Allen has released numerous hip-hop albums and mix-tapes under the music label Richland Records. He is a graduate of Henry Ford Community College (A.S. in Computer Science), Wayne State University (B.A. in Journalism), and Capella University (M.S. in Human Services). He has written for B.L.A.C. Detroit Magazine, the South End newspaper, the Grosse Pointe news and Cafagna Arts & Entertainment. Allen is also a member of Alpha Phi Omega’s national service fraternity.
