As an Environmental and community Planner, my work aims to empower communities and create dynamic strategies for dealing with environmental shifts that threaten people, local economies, and resources. Impacts to water quality, clean air, and healthy soil, are issues that disproportionately impact low-wealth, rural communities within and beyond our borders. Intersections of race, class, and environmental issues cannot be ignored, and I seek to be a constant ally in the historical arc of racial and social justice.
