Aanii, Victoria n’dizhikaaz, Saukiing Anishinaabekiing ndoonjiba, I’m Victoria Serda, living in Saukiing Anishinaabekiing in Wiarton, and I’m a settler ally and serial social entrepreneur. Currently, I am Co-Chair of the Niagara Escarpment Biosphere Network with the amazing Nokomis and Water Walker Charlene Winger-Jones, as well as serving on the Climate Reality Project Canada and mentoring. In 2013, I was honoured to be nominated by the Saugeen Shores Accessibility Committee to be a recipient of one of the June Callwood Awards for Outstanding Achievement in Voluntarism from the Minister of Immigration, Michael Coteau~what an honour! I've been a full time volunteer for most of my life, but have had a few contracts, such as acting as a Strategic Advisor for Saugeen First Nation from 2013-17 and co-founding the Bagida'waad Alliance. I'm married to Jamie, an authentic Texican, have an 28 year old daughter Corrina who was the youngest person Al Gore trained to give the climate change presentations when she was 11, got 30% in a municipal election and has a Communications Degree. We have Roger, Clyde and Squirrely Dan, the cutest rabbits in the world. Corrina and I are vegan. I enjoy writing music when inspired. I used to be the Deputy Leader of the Green Party of Ontario, including Chairing the 2007 Green Party of Ontario election campaign, and have run in elections at the 3 levels of government. I was also the co-Chair of the 2010 Green Party of Canada national convention and have been a key chairperson in two since. I got 21% in a mayoral race too~Phew! Still working hard for the future, and look forward to connecting with more like-minded people.
