Nashville

I'm a recovering journalist and a closet political junkie. I work as a development manager for my favorite non-profit, JDRF.

I’ve lived with type 1 diabetes for 22 years, and my passion is helping uninsured and medically-uneducated patients gain access to insulin and other vital resources. I love people with my whole heart, but my capacity to love others is only because Jesus first loved us.

I'm a dye-hard Auburn girl and rarely meet a stranger. I’ve been known to ride a bicycle for many miles, and given the option, I'd choose a mountain trail over a city sidewalk. I advocate for active lifestyles and promote women's cycling in and around Nashville. I'm a pretend triathlete working toward a 70.3 race, but my weaknesses include specialty cheeses, a good glass of Chardonnay and anything with bacon. All three are proving problematic to that 70.3 goal.
