Currently functioning as AltaMed Health Services Corporation’s Senior Human Resources Business Partner, Victor Melendez began his long career with the state of Arizona and served in several positions over 13 years, most notably as Director of Equal Employment Opportunity.

Continuing on to work as West Region Director of Human Resources for Kindred Healthcare, Inc., Victor Melendez spearheaded a reorganization that led the company to save $1 million.

When Victor Melendez operated as Saint John’s Health Center’s Vice President of Human Resources, he saved the company $5.3 million when he negotiated benefit plans and third-party vendor agreements, upgraded the payroll system, and restructured the human resources department. As Liberty Dialysis, LLC’s Vice President of Human Resources, Victor Melendez saved the company more than $1 million when he negotiated benefits plans on a national level and reduced workers compensation occurrences by a quarter.
