Vivek Wadhera

As Strategic Marketing Manager for Micron Technology Incorporated, Vivek Wadhera is an experienced software and hardware engineer, specializing in product design, development, and marketing. Wadhera has been with Micron Technology for more than a decade, and has held several distinguished positions with the company.

Vivek Wadhera began his career at Micron Technology in 2002, first serving the company as Product Engineer I. Within two years, he was promoted to Product Engineer II. In both of his roles as an engineer, Wadhera gained experience in leading several development teams. His early success earned him recognition as an innovative and enthusiastic leader, resulting in his promotion to Project Manager by 2004.

As Project Manager, he initiated several successful projects, including leading a cross-functional team in the planning and execution of his department's first Continuous Improvement system, which incorporated Six Sigma principles. He also created an innovative knowledge management and problem-solving method that gained great popularity and was the most widely adopted system in the company. During his tenure as Project Manager, Vivek Wadhera cut more than $9 million in costs, and trained 400 internal customers worldwide, an achievement that earned his group a Team of the Month Award.

Under his current role as Strategic Marketing Manager, Wadhera is responsible for leading product-development initiatives and overseeing marketing strategies. His accomplishments have included the preparation of business cases for new products and sales accounts, and conducting pricing and analysis for forecasting revenue, volume, and cost structures for accounts. Vivek Wadhera was also responsible for the development of competitive intelligence for flash-memory ecosystems, as well as initiating business-development methods for improving customer relationships and introducing special marketing offers.

Vivek Wadhera is a graduate of the University of Arizona, with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering. He also holds a Master of Business Administration from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
