Von Goodloe demonstrates extensive experience in human resources, labor relations, operations and training management, budgeting, and project coordination. He also has expertise in the administration of educational institutions. Since February of 2010, Von Goodloe has served as the vice president of human resources at Memphis Light, Gas and Water (MLGW). He is responsible for the direction of all human resources functions, including labor relations and equal employment. He directly oversees an operating budget of $6 million and indirectly manages a total human capital budget of over $177 million.

Before taking his position with MLGW, Von Goodloe spent eight years working for Memphis City Schools in positions ranging from associate superintendent and labor relations coordinator to assistant to the Teaching & Learning Academy director and mathematics and physics instructor. He was the executive manager of the process by which all district personnel were aligned with strategic district goals and the superintendent’s evaluation plan.

Von Goodloe received his bachelor of arts in physics from Hampton University and master of science in educational administration from Trevecca Nazarene College. He went on to earn a specialist in education and doctor of education from Union University.
