I am a customer service career professional with a work history in library employment, high level government service, and office support.

I have a Master of Arts degree in History from the University of Portland, where I specialized in the 19th Century, Women's History, Fashion History, and Medieval-Renaissance culture. I wrote my Master's Thesis on the History of Women's Millinery. I also have a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Portland with a triple major in English, Psychology, and History and a minor in French.

Currently, I am the Regional Coordinator of the Oregon and SW Washington Region of the Jane Austen Society of North America (JASNA) and served 6 years as Secretary.

I have co-presented at 2 reading group discussions for the Oregon & SW Washington Region on Jane Austen in 1803 and 1817.

In 2016, the Oregon & SW Washington Region awarded me a Tribute Grant to attend the AGM (annual general meeting) conference. In 2010, I served as a Registration Assistant for the Portland AGM.

My memberships include: Jane Austen Society of North America (life membership); Regency Fiction Writers; Romance Writers of America (RWA)--of which I have PRO status; and Phi Alpha Theta National History Honor Society (life membership). With such a background, I thrive on research and enjoy sharing information.

I am also a Brand partner with Think Goodness, a brand collective of Origami Owl (jewelry/accessories), Willing Beauty (skincare), CMYK (cosmetics), and Intuitiv Wellness (supplements).

My publishing credentials include: regional event news for the national publication JASNA News; blog posts for JASNA Oregon & SW Washington Region; writing articles in RWA newsletters; a 10,000 word short story romance for the confessions market; book reviews for The Gothic Journal and The Regency Realm; an essay for The Finnish-American Reporter; poetry, and an archived M.A. Thesis.

I have also completed an unpublished hybrid romance novel which is the first in a series.

I write paranormal romance with a twist (both contemporary and historical); historical nonfiction, especially women's history; short stories; and poetry.
