Vassilios P. Bartzokas

Vassilios has been involved in a series of high profile projects in the Design and Architecture Industry. Since February of 2012 he is based in Berlin, Germany where he has created a platform sourcing award winning creative talent from Europe in Asia called DESIGNLOBBY.ASIA and a match making agency for that connects creatives from Europe with individuals, corporations, agencies and Super Brands.
Vassilios is the former CEO of CARTECO DESIGN CENTRE, a company awarded under his management as one of the 10 best companies in Europe for the Customer Focus Award at the European Business Awards 2009, together with companies such as DELL, DEUTSCHE TELEKOM, AIR BERLIN and others.
He was the Founder and Creative Director of the free 24/7 access, innovative materials library for architects and designers called THE ARCHIVE (www.thearchive.gr). He is the curator in Berlin of FOUNDERSMEAL.COM and he is actively involved in the Startup Community. He is also the Ambassador and host of STARTUP SAFARY ATHENS which will be held in Greece the Fall of 2014.
He has founded and produced high profile festivals, events, conferences and workshops for the Architecture and the Design Community such as INVISIBLE HOTEL EXHIBITION (ATHENS 2005, NEW YORK, THESSALONIKI) GREEN DESIGN FESTIVAL in 2008 (40,000 visitors) and 2010 (150,000visitors), ATHENS ARCHITECTURE WORKSHOP (2009), and he is currently co founder and producer of two very successful conferences in Greece, one for Architecture and Interior Design called ESW [eso ] and one of the Industrial Design Scene called NTIZAIN.ORG both held at the ONASSIS CULTURAL CENTRE .
He is the editor and founder of ARCHISEARCH.gr magazine and member of the board of advisors committee for the ECOWEEK Conferences worldwide. He is the Partner for Greece and Cyprus for ARKKI School of Architecture for Kids and Youth.
