Wade Ang

A Director of Financial Planning and Analysis at NComputing in Redwood City, Wade Ang finds time amid his extensive financial duties to give back to the world via charitable contributions to such organizations as the United States Mission, The American Red Cross, and a Silicon Valley food bank. Through the Red Cross, he contributed toward relief efforts for the 2010 Haiti earthquake, as well as the 2011 Japanese earthquake and tsunami, among other recent events.

Wade Ang’s duties at NComputing include participating on various teams dedicated to corporate strategy, providing finance interaction with the sales department, and making monthly financial presentations to the company’s board.

Wade Ang meets the fast-paced demands of Silicon Valley culture head-on and has provided sharp financial assistance to corporations in the San Francisco area since 1999. Relocating from Honolulu for a position as an Accounting and Operations Manager for BoxLot.com led Wade Ang into the operational sector of finance. He managed payroll and reduced receivables of aged accounts by 30% between 1999 and 2000.

At Esurance, Wade Ang employed the management skill and financial savvy gained from his studies at the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa Shidler College of Business, from which he graduated with honors with a Master of Business Administration. In the capacity of Assistant Controller for this insurance firm, he held responsibility for communication with senior management and for training and developing five staff members.

Seeking new opportunities, Wade Ang joined Siperian (now Informatica Corporation) in 2005, serving two years as Corporate Controller and Director of Finance. He streamlined efficiency with internal procedures and control policies, as well as decreased the closing cycle to less than a week from a previous 15-day span. As head of Siperian’s financial team, Wade Ang also played an integral role in strategic decisions.
