I make natural soap to provide jobs for the Akha people of Northern Thailand who are often refused citizenship by their government & are easy targets for Human Traffickers. Customers who buy my products are informed, compassionate consumers who want their money to make a difference in fighting for justice. Although complex issues like human trafficking are scary & overwhelming, I think that we must address root causes with practical economic solutions. Watch the short video HERE.

I grew up in a small town in the middle of the endless farmland of Western Canada & was first captivated by the power of free enterprise when I sold contraband bubblegum for greatly inflated prices out of my school locker. My wanderlust blossomed immediately after high school when I joined Youth With A Mission & spent my twenties traveling throughout the Caribbean, Asia, Central & South America, Europe, & Northern Africa & learned how to sleep anywhere & eat anything.

Including an unfulfilling attempt at normalcy when I got a "real" job as a cappuccino slave, I have also worked as a treeplanter, janitor, busboy, & rock and roll roadie. Although I really love quality espresso and amazing pyrotechnic rock and roll, I have learned through experience that I am truly a social entrepreneur at heart.

I am still madly in love with Joanna, my wife of 14 years, & I am power Daddy to my 3 small children who always live their lives turned up to 11. I love real BBQ, 80's trance remixes, cooking, playing bass guitar, thinking outside the box, living what I believe, & late at night I crave Mexican food and all kinds of Asian soup .
