I'm from Cape Verde, but was born in Russia and currently live in Portugal, pursuing a PhD in Computer-Generated Holography at Minho University, Braga.

I'm an open-source/open content geek, and an proficient editor in several Wikimedia projects. I enjoy telling people about solipsism, which I tongue-in-cheekily espouse. I'm a perfectionist and very curious, which at times leads me into procrastination.

I like standards, SETI, and bossa nova. I dislike inefficiency, sarcasm and jargon.
