Walter Synalovski is the Director of Camp Mah-Kee-Nac which is located in Lenox, MA. Walter brings 27 years of experience working with children and is starting his 20th year as a camp director. Walter graduated from Florida International University in 1989 with a degree in business administration. He started working with children as a youth group advisor in 1985 and became the Director of Camp Judaea in Hendersonville, NC in 1993. From 1996 to 2009, Walter was the Director of Cedar Lake Camp in Milford, PA, the same camp at which Joe Kruger started his own camping career. Joe Kruger was a pioneer of camping and the original owner and Director of Camp Mah-Kee-Nac. Walter is married and has 2 daughters. His youngest daughter is allergic to tree-nuts and Walter has always accommodated the dietary and social needs of children with food allergies at camp.
