Wanda Suitt-Horton is the owner and principal of her interior design firm, Wanda S. Horton Interior Design. Located in the Charlotte, North Carolina area, she has completed custom interiors for clients across the state, as well as in locations as far as Pennsylvania, Georgia, South Carolina and Tennessee. Her clients range from the cradle to the adult who desires to enjoy their second act with the ease of function and style.

Full-service interior design projects are the hallmark of Wanda's company and she offers shorter-term, specialized solutions, as well. Whether your needs are: to stage for a move, refreshing what you have, designing for the long-term, or even a vacation residence, Wanda's attention to her client's preferences and all of the details sets her apart from the norm. Her clients have told her so!

Wanda's major in interior design, at East Carolina University, set the foundation for her knowledge, while years of experience and continuing education have allowed her to build an award-winning firm, recognized by both the consumer and her industry. She's been invited to be a guest-speaker during High Point Furniture Market and industry events, as well as a contributor for publications such as: the Williams Sonoma Designer Marketplace Blog, the Hooker Furniture Corporation Blog, and The Designer Lookbook. Wanda was honored to be selected as one of the original Style Spotters for the High Point Furniture Market.

While interior design is a professional passion, Wanda shares a keen interest in creating a softer landing for those who may not have a home. Her work with the Union County Community Shelter has filled a special place in her heart as she has partnered with those in the home furnishings industry to bring the benefit of function and design to the shelter and its residents.

In her spare time, Wanda enjoys the road less traveled with her husband, Roger, an Urban Planner, and her three rescue dachshunds - Magnum, Freckles, and Mindy. Antiquing and gardening are two other creative interests, along with getting lost in a good book. Of course, her favorite thing of all is to share one-on-one time in getting to connect with family and friends.
