An aspiring writer and entrepreneur from Karachi. I have been blogging for nearly 10 years on different platforms, writing on various topics ranging from politics and history to literature and technology. More recently I have switched towards fiction writing and recently wrote a sci-fi novel that I am personally editing.
My first experience of risk taking was to leave my lucrative job at TPS (a leading FinTech company of Pakistan) and start my own literature blog where I covered literary events and posted book reviews.
With MBA qualification in Marketing and undergraduate business degree in MIS, I worked in the tech industry for over 3 years that has given me ample opportunity to grow and find my voice. I decided to take another risk and start my own venture. Called 'Siasatdaan' (Politician), the venture is a fact-checking website that rates politicians according to their statements and performance. This venture combines my interests as a follower of political developments, tech enthusiast and writer.
'Siasatdaan' is seed funded by Pakistan Software House Association (P@SHA) and incubated at The NEST I/O. 'Siasatdaan' is also part of a larger venture called 'KTown.io' which is a software house specializing in web development.
