'Content marketing' is the communications buzzword de jour, but it's not a new communications strategy. Good marketers have always aimed to use a good story in the right marketing channel at the right time to reach their target audience effectively.

The challenge of learning the type of information an audience needs and the delivery channel where it would be most effective stimulates me as a content marketer. I also love experimenting with new promotion techniques and content types. What is a hit today may not even ripple the pond tomorrow.
