Carol Wilkerson has a vocation many would envy. She has been self-employed writing and researching in the field of genealogy and history for over 25 years. She is the author of two blogs: Pentimento and iPentimento – Genealogy and History. Both have been in existence since 2006 and 2007 respectively. Skilled not only in writing, but blogging on Typepad and Wordpress, she has also learned to put social networking to her best advantage. A special skill she sometimes uses when doing genealogical research is as a handwriting analyst.

She is a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Future goals include writing eBooks for the Kindle market, or self-publishing through other methods.

Married for over 40 years, Carol and her husband have one son who is an IT professional; her son and his wife have added joy to the family with three lovely grandchildren.
