Weston Hyter

Possessing 15 years of business experience, Weston Hyter began his career by studying business administration at the University of Kansas. Weston Hyter played an active role in campus life while funding his tuition through a combination of work and scholarships. In addition to serving as the President of the freshman class in 1991, he was elected President of the Phi Gamma Delta fraternity in 1993. Weston Hyter graduated with a Bachelor of Science in 1995 and subsequently accepted an Account Executive position with Lockton, Inc. in Kansas City, Missouri. Focusing on national accounts for the commercial insurance brokerage, Weston Hyter developed and marketed new protection programs while retaining existing customers. In 2000, Weston Hyter relocated to the West Coast and joined PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP as a Sales Executive. After one year with the corporation, he moved to the Internet marketing firm LinkShare, a Rakuten company, becoming a Director of Client Development in the San Francisco office. Responsible for generating new business, Weston Hyter consistently exceeded performance quotas by effectively upgrading clients and identifying efficient complementary programs. This sales record earned him the honor of Sales Professional of the Year and entry into the firm’s President’s Club. With his knowledge of Internet marketing, Weston Hyter operated as the Sales Director of San Francisco-based PopularMedia, Inc. from 2007 to 2008. Through the use of advanced analytics, PopularMedia helps online businesses maximize their traffic and profitability. After serving one year as an Account Director with Yahoo!, Weston Hyter joined Marin Software as a Strategic Account Executive. Leveraging his experience as an online marketing sales professional, he was able to bring half a million dollars of revenue into the company in less than a year. Now residing in the San Francisco Bay Area, Weston Hyter snowboards, travels, and rides mountain bikes in his free time. An avid reader, he is a fan of gritty American novelists such as Cormac McCarthy, Ernest Hemingway, and Jack London.
