Pyrographer with an attraction to all things folksy. . . I'm simple and old-fashioned and its been said that my work is whimsical in character yet elegant in style. I like to call it pokerwork, because to me it is folk art. My woodburnings are an expression of my artistic gift. There's something about the long-lived and quite permanent decoration of wood that captures me completely. Long after I've left this world, my woodburnings will endure. I may never create a great masterpiece or be awarded high honors for my work, but I'm devoted to the process, all the same. I decided to name my shop Edge of the Wildwood and I've been selling woodburnings since 2005. It's extremely gratifying to me, to have my items shipped around the world.
