I am a Digital Marketing Specialist, web developer, and SEO at Olive & Lake, a Digital Marketing Agency based in Siem Reap, Cambodia.
In 2010, I met a guy who was into black hat SEO and I was transfixed. I made a website and ranked it on the first page of Google and made some money. At this point, I knew this is what I wanted to do.
I made 100s of websites. Some ranked, some made money, some didn't. However, I learned something from each and every website I built.
Then a few friends started asking me for websites for their businesses and I understood the importance of Local SEO, on-site optimisation, page loading times, conversion rates and all the other things which go into making successful websites for small businesses.
My clients were making money and I was happy. Then more clients found me and they too started making money online, then some more. Before I knew it, I had 100 clients and a reputation in Siem Reap as the guy to go to for help with your online presence.
Then I met Sebastien Olive. It was clear we shared the same passion for digital marketing. We stated making our plans for a new marketing agency. We secured funding and the rest is history - so they say.
