William Midian, MD

Residing in Ohio, William Midian, MD, began focusing his medical career on pain management in 1996. In July, he began serving the Barberton Citizens Hospital’s Pain Management Services department. Dr. William Midian set up the pain management center and utilized interventional pain management with fluoroscopy techniques, the first in Summit County to do so. Later that same year, William Midian, MD, began directing Village Pain and Rehab Associates, Inc., where he used similar techniques as well as acupuncture in order to treat both acute and chronic pain.

After earning his Bachelor of Arts from The University of Akron, William Midian, MD, entered medical school, culminating with his Fifth Pathway at the University of St. Louis School of Medicine. Dr. Midian maintains a permanent license to practice in Ohio and has held licenses in Georgia and Illinois. Dr. Midian then began general surgery training at Wright State University School of Medicine in Kettering, Ohio. He continued his general surgery education at St. Mary’s Hospital / Yale School of Medicine in Waterbury, Connecticut, which he finished in 1983. Dr. William Midian later received anesthesiology training through Meridia Huron Hospital in Cleveland and the State University of New York at Buffalo.

William Midian, MD, has served as an emergency room and intensive care physician, a Chief of the Department of Anesthesiology, and a Staff Anesthesiologist. He maintains memberships with the Summit County Medical Society, The Ohio Society of Anesthesiologists, and the American Society of Anesthesiologists.
