William Monterosso

A graduate of Glenville State College in Glenville, West Virginia, William Monterosso has received a variety of awards such as the prestigious Kentucky Colonel Award, which he garnered in 2010. In 1993, he was West Virginia Social Worker of the Year while serving as a juvenile probation officer. Recognized in his field, William Monterosso earned the first Juvenile Justice Grant ever awarded in Wood County, and he helped establish the county's first alternative school. He currently serves as a city executive director, which allows him to maintain strong partner relationships and bring about new growth and visibility for the city.

In addition to his professional pursuits, William Monterosso devotes time and energy to several civic and charitable events and organizations, including Habitat for Humanity, where he serves as a member of the Board of Directors. When not engaging in professional or philanthropic matters, he participates in a number of hobbies and pastimes, including hiking and exploring new destinations. He also devotes a considerable proportion of his time to volunteering.
