Social Media Manager, Operations, and Admissions in North Manchester, Indiana
I am the Associate Director for Admissions Operations and Social Media Coordinator at Manchester University. I'm cerebral and am always trying to improve myself and the processes I'm involved with, but could be described as fun and quirky in spite of this! I've worked with students across the socioeconomic spectrum and have an interest in working with those who are passionate about learning but are unsure of where they will end up.
I love to read and gain new experiences. I have previously run a technology company, worked as an electronics waste management consultant, helped develop a distributed Linux-based OS for use in Africa, taught high school chemistry and physics, coached wrestling, written and directed stage theater, and did chemistry research in enzymatic biodegradation.
Eventually I hope to further my education and research applied behavioral economics in higher education admissions and enrollment management.
My favorite animal is the penguin and my favorite place I have traveled is Donegal, Ireland.
