Kimberly Rais

I am a native Colorado girl and love that we get more than 300 days of sunshine each year! I am married for 20 years to a saint of a man, and have two amazing teenaged sons. Laughter permeates this house; along with a strong belief to speak with purpose.

Few things hold more power than a simple word. Words can sink, anchor or uplift us. They can flow freely in song, prayer, anger or excitement; or they can elude us leaving us speechless.

I have a background in psychology, but have always had a passion for writing and all things creative. I am embarking on my new artistic activities to finally give this weary heart exactly what it wants. A few laughs. Permission to be a little dorky. And a chance.
