W Peter Daniels

An experienced health care administrator, W. Peter Daniels most recently led a major Illinois health care system as CEO and president. His leadership responsibilities encompassed implementing strategic goals and introducing a host of advanced technologies. W. Peter Daniels has a breadth of knowledge that includes familiarity with accreditation and regulatory bodies at the regional, state, and local levels. While serving as senior vice president of operations with Our Lady of Mercy Medical Center in the 1990s, he developed a number of Centers of Excellence programs in areas such as oncology and maternal & child care.

Mr. Daniels has extensive speaking and teaching experience that includes 10 years as an adjunct professor in business administration with Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry, New York. In this capacity, he taught a wide range of courses, from managerial finance to advanced statistics. Mr. Daniels has presented to the Physical Therapy Association of New York on the topic "Current Issues in Health Care" and has co-hosted New York radio talk shows such as "Let's Talk Health" on and "Mercy on Health." W. Peter Daniels maintains a longstanding community focus that earned him distinguished citizen award in 2006.
