Thomas Adkins

Thomas Adkins is the Associate Director of Marketing and Public Relations for Theatre Development Fund. He is also an author and illustrator, having written his first children's book, Mabel Stanley and the Town That Was Built All Wrong.

Before joining TDF he served as the Director of Marketing/Director of Graduate Studies in Theatre Management for The University of Alabama/Alabama Shakespeare Festival where he taught courses in marketing and public relations, business ethics, development, and arts advocacy. In addition he has produced/general managed several Off Broadway productions including Alcestis Ascending, Dammit, Shakespeare, Underwear: A Space Musical (at the New York International Fringe Festival). He has also served on the Event Committee for the Broadway Beauty Pageant benefiting the Ali Forney Center. He is also a freelance graphic designer and illustrator. He holds a Master of Fine Arts from The University of Alabama and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Tennessee.
