Ximena is an advanced certified yoga teacher, activist and healer whose classes align the body, heart and spirit with all of life. Her teachings encourage students to go beyond the physical and listen to the divine voice that arises from deep within—a presence that reminds us of our interconnection with all that exists. As this awareness grows, we awaken to our true selves who, by nature, are compassionate and loving and long to “be the change we wish to see in the world.”

Ximena’s teachings draw from her own life experiences and reflect her strong call to live in the service of others. They are inclusive and healing for students of all shapes and sizes, skin colors, nationalities, religions, abilities, genders, gender identities and socioeconomic statuses. She is trained to teach those who are healing from trauma, anxiety, depression, negative body image and eating disorders. Ximena was born in Lima, Peru, grew up in the suburbs of Washington, DC and currently resides in New York City. She teaches throughout the world, particularly in Latin America where she is able to teach in Spanish, her native language.

Ximena’s passion for inclusivity extends beyond form. A life-long animal rights and environmental activist, she teaches others how to adopt and maintain healthy vegan lifestyles. She integrates these beliefs with the teachings of yoga, all of which remind us of our innate desire to connect with all things.
