I'm a experience designer for ThoughtWorks with, a nearly 20 year career in design strategy for nonprofit and corporate clients.

Raised in Chicagoland and now based in Brooklyn, I'm now completing an MFA in Transdisciplinary Design at Parsons, The New School for Design, where I am, also a teaching assistant for an undergraduate class on global issues in design and art. My background in ethnographic urbanism and experience design has led to a design practice that engages with the psychology of time and space, the pedagogy of empathy, and human development.My thesis research is focused on the careers of deaf and hard of hearing and how might the design of social support networks and the workplace environment support them.

Also a late deafened adult and gay man, I am also an advocate for accessibility and social justice, including prison reform and victim's advocacy. I am grateful to serve on the associates board of Equal Justice USA.
