Xuan Zhao

Hi, I am Xuan, currently a PhD candidate studying Information Science at University of Michigan.

I do research to explore how people interact with their digital possessions (especially social media data) in the long run, and how we can design better reflective and reminiscing experiences for people.

Before joining UMSI, I have been primarily working at Cornell’s Reimagination Lab. I've also worked at Facebook UEX Research, Intelligent Collaboration group at IBM Research, and the Socio-Digital group at Microsoft Research Cambridge (UK).
