Born in Mexico and lived all over the world. Got a scholarship to Columbia, so I moved to NYC; worked in digital strategy for 5 years, and then clearly lost my marbles and decided to set off on the merry adventure of becoming an entrepreneur - first with Wyst, and now with Mexico Industries.

I have a wealth of experience in strategy consulting, business development, product development, digital strategy, online marketing & analytics, mobile media, social media, market research and sales. I have a keen eye for a good business opportunity, and am a self-starter who gets sh*t done and definitely thrives under pressure - so I'm generally the guy people turn to when something blows up, which is both a blessing and a curse. I'm reasonably creative and can generally be relied upon to come up with some pretty out-of-left-field ideas, some of which can be useful and transformative, and the rest of which are rather hilarious. All in all a value-add, I'd like to think.

I'm passionate about history, travel, music, film and digital media, and am fluent in four languages (six if I push it) but can curse in many more. Mine is a global outlook, having lived in Mexico, New York, Rome and Switzerland. I have a healthy sense of humor and consider myself a pretty likable guy (despite my absurd fashion sense) and have generally been told I'm a great manager / coworker / project leader / drinking buddy.

Claims to fame: have met two autocratic dictators over the course of my life, and once punched a Saudi prince in the face.

I am also the least Mexican-looking Mexican you'll ever meet.
