Yanira Cardona

My name is Yanira Cardona and I am a self motivated person who has a passion for music. I recieved my Bachelor's in Music Business with an AA in Recording Arts at Full Sail University. I was honored to recieve the Advance Achiever award. Being a navy brat I have had the privilege of growing up in different countries around the world. At the age of 15 I started modeling and acting around Puerto Rico. During that time I wrote, directed, produced, and acted in my own play that got presented around Puerto Rico. Towards the end of my junior year my father got orders to Jacksonville, FL. Once we moved there, I became the lead singer for a Latin band called Ritmo Y Sabor. Joining the band open many doors for me and made me realize my passion for music. I got asked to host a weekend morning show for a Spanish AM station in Jacksonville. Not only was I a host, but I also help program the show, create commercials and jingles, and sell advertisement to make revenue for the show. Once the station closed, I still started hosting events around Jacksonville. Than a Spanish FM station opened called La Fiesta and I got asked to create Jingles for the station.

During this whole time I wanted to go back to school. A friend of mine told me about Full Sail University and I didn't think twice about signing up. I got my AA in Recording Arts and my Bachelor's in Music Business. During my education course I got the privilege to attend the 2011 Grammy's. I also got picked to be the assistant recording engineer for Darren Schneider for Two Door Cinema Club and Tokyo Police Club live recording for Park Ave in Orlando, FL. I interned for The Daily Buzz which, is a national television morning show. I was their marketing intern and the executive producer intern.

None of this could have happened without the help of my parents who support me in everything I do. I'm a fun, creative, loving women who knows how to get the job done. Follow me on twitter and I will follow you back!

Have A Great Day
