Yau Hui Min is the co-founder of Selangor Model United Nations (SMUN) - the first independent, 100% youth-run MUN entity in Malaysia that aims to become a character-shaping and nation-building tool.

Selangor MUN was founded upon the belief that youths have unlimited potential. Part of the SMUN Partners' values is to provide equal opportunities for all in hope of reaching into untapped human potential.

The SMUN Partners comprises of more than 20 individuals from 10 institutions across Malaysia and the United Kingdom, another first for MUN in Malaysia. We believe in the power of networking and collaboration, and in seeking the best and providing the best.

The SMUN motto of going "MUN Beyond MUN" is our aim of tapping into human potential across various fields. We value Form & Function in Design, Videos That Stick, and Newsletters That Eternalize Moments. Other than discovering budding designers, filmmakers, new media enthusiasts and journalists, we hope to someday discover social entrepreneurs too.

Hui Min also once spearheaded Do Something Good (DSG), an online volunteering platform under Tandemic which was seed-funded by myHarapan (Youth Trust Foundation) and launched by Malaysian Prime Minister Y.A.B. Dato' Seri Najib Razak. While connecting communities that build nations, DSG stays sustainable through the cross-field of technology and social enterprise.
